Leaving BEAUVILLE, a bastide (fortified town) dominating the valley of the Petite Séoune, make your way towards ENGAYRAC turning right at the SAINT-ELOI crossroads. Make a stop in this small village, on the plateau, to look at the romanesque twelfth century church of Saint-Pierre-aux-Liens (Saint Peter in Chains).
Leaving the village turn left. On the way, between hills and valleys, you never lose sight of the church of Saint-Julien-de-la-Serre on your left. Pass the wall of the castle of Combebonnet, classified as an historic building, formerly a legislative seat which gave its name to a feudal family from the thirteenth century.
There is an opportunity to take a walk around the lake below this building.
Passing through the NAUDOU farm, you now arrive at GANDAILLE.
À la croix de BERNY, vous tournez à gauche et admirez l’église romane de GANDAILLE.
At the cross of BERNY, turn left and admire the romanesque church of GANDAILLE.
From the valley, go up towards CAZELLES and then continue your tour in the direction of the village of SAINT-MAURIN to visit the abbey and its museum.
